In our BRIGHT assembly this week, we read the story 'Giraffes Can't Dance' by Giles Andreae. Gerald believes he can't dance and is teased by the other jungle animals. It is only when he meets Cricket that he realises he can dance when he tries. The message we take from this story is to be resilient and find the strength to keep trying when things get tough. Remember you can do anything you put your mind to as long as you don't give up!
