Our trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Today we wrapped up warm for our adventure to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The children were amazed as we walked around the park and discovered the different animals in their habitats. We saw the majestic giraffes, leaping lemurs, boisterous baboons and everyone had a favourite! The incredible polar bears were loved by all, Hamish and Luka were amazing!
During the 'Bear Necessities' workshop the children listened attentively and were able to answer lots of questions and share their knowledge of polar bears from their learning in school. The rangers were impressed that the children knew of the risks polar bears face in their natural habitats due to climate change.
We are so proud of Year 4 for representing Farfield Primary so well Yorkshire Wildlife Park. What super examples they were being ready, respectful and safe throughout the trip!
