Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
2022 marks the year that Her Majesty The Queen becomes the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.
Today everyone at Farfield Primary & Nursery School joined millions of people in the UK and around the world to celebrate.
Cakes and biscuits were baked and decorated, trifle and fruit cocktail were prepared, all for our Jubilee Picnic. The children got creative designing Jubilee gowns, colouring flags, collaging and stitching crowns, making deely-boppers and drawing portraits. The decorations were hung and everyone joined in our red, white and blue themed party with games and music from the decades of Her Majesty The Queen's 70 year reign.
