Whole School Assembly - Individual Liberty

This morning Mrs Nichols talked to everyone about British Values and how we can show these values in school. She talked to us about democracy, the rules of law, mutual respect and individual liberty. Mrs Nichols shared a picture from this week’s Picture News which detailed the announcement from Coca-Cola that they are trialling removing labelling from their bottles and instead embossing details on them. This is in an attempt to reduce packaging. We discussed that us being able to make choices is a part of our Individual Liberty and what we could do to support reducing packaging in our day-to-day lives.
