BRIGHT Assembly - Belief
Wed 15 Apr 2026In our BRIGHT assembly this week our theme was Belief. We read 'Look Up!' by Nathan Bryon, which is a joyful and inspiring story about a young girl named Rocket who dreams of becoming an astronaut. Despite others being distracted or not sharing her enthusiasm, Rocket keeps believing in her passion for space and encourages those around her to “look up” and see the wonder above them.
The story beautifully reflects the theme of belief, showing children the importance of believing in themselves, even when others may not immediately understand their dreams. -

🌞🌳🐰HAF + Farfield Easter Egg Hunt @ Nell Bank 🐰🌳🌞
Wed 08 Apr 2026Today, 20 grown ups and 39 children from our Farfield school community went of a big easter egg hunt at Nell Bank! The coach picked us up at 9:30 for a fun filled day. When we get to Nell Bank, we picked our own lunch and went on an adventure around the site to find the golden egg. There was wellie throwing, water play and lots of other activities to keep us busy all day. We had picnics and played on the big adventure play ground. At 2pm it was time to leave and the coach brought us all back to school. All of the children were given a beautiful Jellycat bunny as a reminder of the day.
We are really grateful for this HAF funded opportunity for our families and to Mrs Taylor for coordinating and supporting our families on the day.

What lovely ways to finish the term and a well deserved treat for both classes.

BRIGHT Assembly - High Hopes
Wed 18 Mar 2026In our BRIGHT assembly this week our theme was High Hopes. This story follows a racer pigeon called Gary who cannot fly. His High Hopes led him to adapt to his dreams of one day traveling, how he got there was not the most important thing but that he did in fact get there. We discussed that the true meaning of having High Hopes is more than just a passing wish; it is a belief that something really good will come true.
