  Farfield Primary & Nursery School launched 2022 with the book Charlie’s Magical Carnival by Marit Tornqvist. The new school year began with excitement, awe and wonder and lots of exciting activities. There were 6 large circus tents on the field and each one had a different element of the book inside.

  We had a magician, junk percussion, circus skills, dance, birds of prey and the final tent housed a giant cake created and then shared by the children. Everyone made carnival masks and the whole school learnt the song ‘Try Everything’ by Shakira. Each class decorated a 3D elephant to represent each of the classes being different but that together they make Farfield!
