FARFIELD CHILDREN CAN work together to be awarded class points
Thu 19 Dec 2024Last Friday Miss Mann announced the Class Points winners for the second half of the Autumn Term.
Well done to 3G and 5B.
Today 5B had a cinema afternoon with treats and enjoyed watching The Grinch. They were delighted to earn their class points prize for the second half term in a row and really deserved their afternoon off timetable for their consistency in following our school rules. They show they are ready, respectful and safe every day.

🎄Merry Christmas🎄 - Supporting our Families
Thu 19 Dec 2024At Farfield we like to support our families however we can. Today the Chief Elf, with the support of the Farfield team, has been able to send all of these presents to Father Christmas who will deliver them over 40 of our children on Christmas Day. In addition, St Wilfrid's Church whose Food Bank we support through our Harvest Donations, have put together ten festive food parcels which have also been given out within our community.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

🎄Merry Christmas🎄 - Sing-a-long & Ukuleles 🎵
Thu 19 Dec 2024Today was our final performance of the festive season. After a term of learning to play the ukulele with Will, 3G performed 'Oh Christmas Tree' for the rest of KS2. They did themselves proud - not only did they play but they sang for everyone too - they showed us that Farfield Children Can be Musicians!
Next we had a Christmas Sing-a-long. The children danced and sang enthusiastically, as did Mrs Nichols, Miss Mann, Mrs Gale and our Chief Elf! Festive Fun was had by all!

🎄Merry Christmas🎄 - A VERY Special Visitor 🎅
Wed 18 Dec 2024Today the children at Farfield had a very special visitor! 🎅
We are so very lucky that the Chief Elf herself is a member of the Farfield Community and was able to travel away from the toy factory at this very busy time of year to arrange for Father Christmas to come and spend the day with us in our very own grotto. Chief Elf read 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' to all of the children and each and every child received a present 🎁 from Santa!
Merry Christmas to All!

🎄Merry Christmas🎄 - Christmas Dinner & Christmas Jumper Day
Fri 13 Dec 2024We love to get dressed up at Farfield! And, what could be better than wearing your Christmas Jumper? That's right....wearing your Christmas Jumper to eat your Christmas Dinner that's what!
Mrs Nichols, Mrs Atkinson, Mrs Bentley and Miss Mann put on their festive pinnies and headbands to dish up turkey (or quiche) with all the trimmings to our children this lunch time. Mrs Atkinson's turkey hat was a firm favourite as usual but this year David's jumper stole the show!
Thank you to our brilliant kitchen team for all of your hard work - the children really enjoyed it!
