On Tuesday, those who are celebrating Chinese New Year will enjoy a New Year’s Eve feast! On the day itself, people wear brand new outfits and receive gifts in red envelopes. Did you know it isn’t just for one day? The Chinese New Year is celebrated for several days with lots of special things happening - on day 15 lots of colourful lanterns are hung up with riddles inside them. Thu 19 Dec 2024At Farfield we like to support our families however we can. Today the Chief Elf, with the support of the Farfield team, has been able to send all of these presents to Father Christmas who will deliver them over 40 of our children on Christmas Day.
