BRIGHT Assembly - Resilience
Tue 06 Jan 2026In our BRIGHT assembly this week, we read the story 'Giraffes Can't Dance' by Giles Andreae. Gerald believes he can't dance and is teased by the other jungle animals. It is only when he meets Cricket that he realises he can dance when he tries. The message we take from this story is to be resilient and find the strength to keep trying when things get tough. Remember you can do anything you put your mind to as long as you don't give up!

Farfield Primary & The Story Project
Mon 05 Jan 2026Since choosing to delivery our PSHE curriculum through The Story Project, we have seen that our children have developed their ability to talk about a wider range of emotions. As such, you will have seen our posters on the doors sharing how the children say they feel when they are spoken about. We are really proud that The Story Project have now adapted these posters to share with all schools!

Christmas At Farfield - 🎄🍽 Christmas Dinner 🍽🎄
Fri 19 Dec 2025Today was one of our favourite days of the year - Christmas Dinner Day! As usual, Mrs Atkinson was the star of the show in her terrific turkey hat! It was great to see everyone enjoy their Christmas Dinner in their Christmas Jumpers while listening to some classic Christmas Tunes! Merry Christmas Everyone!

Thu 18 Dec 2025Every classroom door has been adorned with an amazing class wreath all week. We've loved seeing your designs come together and enjoyed seeing your creativity. Christmas At Farfield - 🎁Festive Support🎁
Wed 17 Dec 2025Farfield Primary & Nursery School would like to express their thanks to our staff, community and friends at the Parish Church of Saint Wilfrid in Lidget Green. With the help of everyone, today we were able to deliver ten food parcels and over fifty presents to our Farfield families. Merry Christmas Everyone.

Wed 17 Dec 2025How lucky are we at Farfield Primary & Nursery School! The children have had a wonderful time today visiting with Father Christmas and his Chief Elf! The children enjoyed listening to 'T'was The Night Before Christmas' in front of an open fire, before telling him what they were hoping for and each receiving a special gift.
