Whole School Assembly - 🎄Christmas with Adam🎄

We talked about how sometimes when we are getting ready for Christmas and putting up decorations we get caught up in all the excitement and forget about what is important at this time of year - peace for everyone. Reading Ambassadors – 🌟📖Welcome to This Year’s Team!📖🌟
Tue 25 Nov 2025We are delighted to introduce our new team of Reading Ambassadors. Each pupil submitted an impressive application, demonstrating not only a genuine love of reading but also thoughtful ideas about how they can enhance the reading experience for their peers at Farfield.
This enthusiastic and respectful group of pupils are a real credit to our school. Among their many responsibilities, they will help maintain their class libraries and ensure our wonderful library bus remains a welcoming and well-organised space.
As representatives for their classmates, our Reading Ambassadors will play an important role in sharing pupil voice. They will help us understand what children enjoy reading and how we can continue to develop and improve our reading offer at Farfield.
We look forward to working with them and seeing the positive impact they will make across our school community.

Although we know that being a team player is a character strength to be celebrated, we learnt through this story that independence is also a great character strength to have. Simon Sock learns that it's great to be yourself and be independent, rather thank having to always be teamed up with a matching partner and we talked about what we could do to show independence also.
